IS AAHBEI?
The American Association for Home-Based Early Interventionists (pronounced
AH-BE) serves families and those working in the field of early intervention
with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with special needs.
This organization is a genuine partnership
of individuals working together to provide:
- Quality services and support for children with special needs
- Family support and networking
- Professional development and networking
- Local, regional, and national representation
- Knowledge, linkage, leadership and resources to it's members
AAHBEI has a special, though not exclusive emphasis on the home
as a beneficial environment for early intervention. A unique strength
of AAHBEI is its focus on sensory loss along with attention to all
special needs.
